Our Florida trip was incredible – we had the most perfect weather for the wedding weekend, capped off with a snowstorm back home that extended our trip another 3 days! I didn’t bring my computer with me, intentionally trying to take a break from work for the weekend and ended up getting almost a whole week off. It was quite nice!
We stayed at the Loews Don Cesar hotel – one of the best hotels in the St. Pete Beach area. The entire exterior is pink, with blue pool chairs and blue/white striped umbrellas. The pool area leads right out to the beach, where you can spend a day under one of their little cabanas. We ate at a few of the hotel restaurants – I highly recommend the fish tacos and green smoothie (best of my life) at the Sea Porch!
Before my trip, I stopped by Calypso St. Barth to pick up a few pieces, one of them being this crochet piece that I know I am going to wear to death. Another one of the pieces was this gorgeous Batinly dress – this season’s version of this dress I wore. I knew it would fit perfectly and I would love it as much as the other one I have. Since the wedding was at night and a bit more formal, this was perfect. I wanted a long, gown type dress but also one that was a pretty color as we’d be in sunny Florida! Thank you so much to Calypso St. Barth for this dress – cannot wait to wear it this summer in New England.
