Top Spring Slides

Spring/Summer Shoe Guide with the Top Mules + Slides - plus ways to wear them all!

Don’t get me wrong.. I love a good pair of wedges or heels, but slides totally have my heart right now + lucky for us they’re super in for the season! I’ve got a few oldies but goodies in rotation as well as a few new pairs I scooped up so figured I would share them with you guys + a few ideas on how to wear them too!

spring slide guide

shop them all at the end of this post!

1.Steven Greece Slides – these were the top sandal of last spring/summer for SURE and this year they’re back in even more color options. I have the white from last year + then this year snagged the natural woven ones, which I LOVE! I’m all about that woven/basketweave look + these go with literally everything, too!

HOW TO WEAR //

You can see I’ve worn them both above with different dresses, but I’ve also paired them with denim shorts, with bathing suits to the beach/pool, and even jeans and a tee. Easily the most versatile pair of sandals in your closet!

2. Schutz Marli Pointed Flats – I just got these in the Shopbop sale a few weeks ago and I am SO GLAD. I had my eye on them for awhile and was going back and forth.. but they’re worth the $$! Super comfy, stay on your feet, and again, the woven look/detail!

HOW TO WEAR //

I’ve worn these twice so far since getting them – once above with these high waisted paper bag pants + then again with a white button down and jeans the other day. Proof these can be dressed up with something or worn around easy, running errands, etc. I think these would also look cute with a shift dress!

3. Sam Edelman Clara Mule – I think these might be the biggest shoe trend of the season right now.. a pointed white slide – if you follow even just ONE influencer on instagram, you’ve for sure seen these! I snagged these a few months ago in a sale and am so so glad because I’ve seen them sell out + restock a few times since. Sam Edelman also has the Natalya style, which is completely flat. The Clara (the ones I have) have a slight heel, which I personally like better. I bought both and ended up returning the Natalya – they also come up further on your feet and for me, I felt like they made my legs look shorter than they already are… ha!

HOW TO WEAR //

Endlesssss ways – again, like so many of these flats! As shown above, I’ve worn them with both dresses + jeans. I also think they would be cute paired with a travel outfit. I actually almost wore these with that look! I have also worn these with a more dressy denim (aka no rips). Ladies who work, these are a great sandal for dresses or with suit sets in the office, too!

4. Gucci or Gucci Dupe Slides/Flats – Gucci is making huge waves in the fashion scene the last few years, and their slides are currently a huge hit (along with their belts + bags!) I was super tempted to grab their mules or flats, but decided not to and instead grabbed these dupes at Target last season. I’m not sure if they have them again this year (yet), but there’s tons of other great similar styles out there you can grab if you don’t want the real thing!

HOW TO WEAR //

These are one pair I don’t consider as super versatile – they’re a little more formal mainly because they’re such a structured shoe. This is another great option for the office, ladies! I did pair them with ripped jeans here but had a classic sweater which really pulled the look together. So you can totally get creative with these to wear them!

5. Sam Edelman Bay Cutout Sandal – I’ve had these sandals for 3 years now and they are a go to for everything! They are super comfy + have a slight padding, so compared to the Steven slides offer a bit more comfort/support!

HOW TO WEAR //

These are definitely more casual (IMO) and I wear them more for everyday looks – not really for things like brunch, church, etc. Good to pair with a casual sundress or throw on with jeans and a tee.
