While I rant and rave about the things I did during fashion week (and don’t get me wrong, they are totally worth raving about), I cannot forget the stylish boutique-esque hotel located on the corner of 27th + Madison that I stayed in with some of my fabulous blogger girlfriends. The MAve was so nice to host us for an entire week, catering to each of our (sometimes ridiculous) girly needs, hailing countless taxis, and watching our heels click-clack out the door seemingly every five minutes. Their concierge boys were some of the nicest + most helpful I’ve ever encountered at a hotel – thank you for all your help, boys!

{Because Kendall is just downright amazing} We were so nicely gifted a stay in their Penthouse Empire Suite – did you catch that? Yes, folks, we enjoyed an entire week on the house.. well, on George: THANK YOU, George. Talk about plush pillows, cozy over sized robes, and a shower with five heads. To have such busy days bustling about the city and come back to a room like that was possibly the reason I could handle my dreamy days ending on me.
To thank the MAve for hosting us so kindly, we each did an outfit post located about the hotel. (See Christine’s here!) The bright red wall in the lobby was hard to stray from + I picked this as my location for the shoot Friday morning before we headed off to shows at Lincoln Center.

I didn’t even realize that I was in head to toe H&M this day until the ever-talented Lee Oliviera photographed me outside Lincoln Center and asked my outfit details. H&M has become my shopping spot of choice the past few months and I guess this just demonstrates that perfectly!
A huuuuge thank you again to the MAve for our incredible stay. I can just tell you it won’t be my last there.
This week will feature more continued coverage of my fashion week adventures.

I was wondering if the Maeve was gifted since you were tweeting about it. You lucky girls! I love the outfit. Great use of mixed prints. π
I’ll have to keep this little trick in mind for the future. I did a post on my hotel and then they tweeted me thanks but I’ll have to work the system next time…or get Kendall to work it for me π
You look fabulous especially in front of that red wall-really makes your outfit pop.
