Continuing the trend of reworking pieces already in my closet this week – if you missed my first post, read it HERE. The second I got this striped blanket coat a few months ago, I knew it would become a piece I’d wear over and over. I initially paired it with leather leggings and flat military boots, but love that it’s so versatile and can be more dressed up with an over the knee boot and fur. It is so cozy and warm, yet not bulky and doesn’t leave you feeling like a walking marshmallow (#petpeeve). I recently got this faux fur collar and have a feeling I’ll be wearing this coat and fur combo a ton this winter. Right about now is the time where I pull out my fur and pretty much live in it (whether a collar, stole, or vest) for the next few months. I also just got these OTK boots and am kind of sold on the trend – it’s hard for me to wear flat OTK boots since I’m on the shorter side, but I love these with the chunky heel. If you’ve got shorter legs like me, these OTK boots are the way to go – they’ll really elongate your legs.
