We all know I have (and love) big hair – always have, ever since I was little. When my hair finally started growing when I was two, it was big, blonde, and curly. And it’s never stopped! I wear my signature waves nearly everyday, hardly ever changing up my hairstyle. I try not to wash it every day either since washing your hair everyday can tend to strip its natural oils and make it dry. Enter in dry shampoo! I recently was able to try out Salon Grafix new Play it Big Dry Shampoo and Hair Spray and was totally impressed. I love that the dry shampoo came in the shade of my hair – so many others spray out white and can leave a little residue making your hair look ashy or even dirty. This amazing stuff blended right in!

I usually spray both my roots (seen in first photo) and my ends (seen in bottom photo). I like the thick texture and hold dry shampoo can give one day old waves – though mine will stay for days and days. Be sure to let the dry shampoo fully dry before running your fingers through it!

Next, I hairspray for all day long hold. First, I gently pull back my roots, to create volume, and then spray – be sure to hold the hairspray about 8 inches from your head!

Then I separate my curls underneath and spray once again, on both sides. If you don’t do this step, your curls will bunch together throughout the day, making your hair look flat with no volume.

Last, I spray the top of the curls I just separated – for obvious reasons! If you only spray one side, what good does it do, right?

Once you’ve sprayed those three ways, you’re done! Breaking apart the hair and creating volume before spraying will help keep your curls in place and keep your big hair for the whole day.

I love my big hair and wear it wherever I go. It’s my go to, signature style!
