My girlfriend Katie and I ventured down to Greenwich, Connecticut last week for some catch up quality time and of course a little shopping. It was your typical girl day, complete with a Starbucks trip, laughs, photo snapping, and even some little hopes of catching Prince Harry since he was in town (coincidentally the same day we decided to visit Greenwich.) We didn’t end up buying anything until a last minute stop at an entirely different shopping location on our way home – which was totally lucky!

I always go for comfort when readying for a day of shopping – pieces that are easy to get on + off (think no buttons and minimal layers). I usually opt for a top + bottom ensemble simply because it can get a little awkward if you’re trying to try only a top but wore a dress – been there, done that. As for footwear, I always carefully pick a pair of shoes I’m most comfortable in. If I have to wear heels, then I always go for my wedges. But, I usually stick to something flat, and preferably a flat that’s easy to slide right on and off for lots of dressing room trips.

Enter: Tieks! I’ve had these amazing flats for a few months now and they’re seriously a life saver – so comfortable with a quality, durable material. They have great padding + support, perfect for your day on your feet. They’re totally worth a little splurge, and let’s be honest, much better than wearing flip flops that have your feet aching at the end of the day or a pair of _______ (insert designer) flats that are IMO pointless to purchase other than for the name.

The other thing I love is that Tieks come in so many different colors and patterns, making it so easy for you to pair with literally every piece in your closet.
