MADEWELL CARDIGAN (ON SALE!) // LAYERING TANK // DISTRESSED BLACK JEANS

SOLE SOCIETY BOOTIES // GIGI NEW YORK CROSSBODY BAG

JULIE VOS NECKLACE // SUNGLASSES // INITIAL PENDANT // WATCH

Yesterday I shared my pretty lengthy travel guide for Kennebunkport – if you missed it, check it out! The weather was absolutely beautiful for our few days there. Gorgeous days and chilly nights, perfect for pulling out those transitional fall staples like cardigans and booties. I wore this outfit earlier in the trip and put together this easy look for the latter half of our second day.

I’ve worn this cardigan several times on instagram and it seems to be pretty popular – good for you girls, it’s on sale right now! I’m wearing a size small for reference as several of you have asked! It’s flowy and super cozy, basically the two things I look for in cardigans. Madewell has such a fantastic selection of cardigans this fall – I stocked up on two different colors in this style (also another popular one with you girls!). My number one piece of advice when buying for fall: don’t wait. The good pieces sell quickly and you won’t get in on the goods if you wait even just a few more weeks. By then we’ll be seeing heavy turtlenecks, puffer coats, and more at retailers. Trust me!

I also wore these black booties a ton in Kennebunkport – and even since returning back home. They’re the perfect height and easy to walk in, especially when exploring a new place for a few days. I am probably going to bring them with me to London next month (yes, I’m headed across the pond!) since they’re a good staple to wear with pretty much anything.

I’m excited to be sharing a fall must have list tomorrow inspired by one of my favorite things: caramel. Check back to see what I mean! 😉

So excited about your trip to London! I lived there for five years until moving elsewhere and I haven’t been there in a year now – really hoping to do a quick trip back there at some point. It’s a city like no other and I think you will love it (unless you’ve already been there, in which case you probably loved it since you’re going back he he) 🙂
