It was my mom’s birthday, and my sister Emily and I spent this beautiful, sunshiney day (finally, some sun!) with her doing girly things: lunch, shopping, and of course snappage of photos! We headed down to the Connecticut shoreline to one of our favorite spots, Lenny and Joe’s Fish Tale (which by the way is on the 1,000 places to eat before you die) and enjoyed a lovely lunch together. Instead of driving over to our beach, we went across the street to the beach there and snapped some photos together. I got in a few shots for this outfit post, as I was sporting some of my new pieces from H&M! After, we jetted over to some premium outlets and got in a little shopping.
Since coming home from school, I’ve splurged quite a bit shopping. But after such a long, accomplishing year, I think I deserve it! I picked up a nice assortment of brightly colored prints and solids from H&M yesterday, two of them being these pieces. I could hardly wait to wear them, and was delighted when the sun was brightly shining today! It was the perfect outfit for a day on the go, not to mention quite comfy! I’m obsessed with my new Revlon lipstick (also seen here) and swiped it on for a nice pop of color with a touch of makeup to finish up the easy look.
