We are having such an unusually warm December here in Connecticut – I haven’t pulled out any of my winter coats yet! I’m soaking it all in because I know the freezing cold will hit us in no time, with single digits and twice as many layers. Until then, you can find me in some sort of ensemble like this – festive, yet not super bundled up. My blanket scarves and ponchos have really seen so much wear since it’s not cold enough for coats and not warm enough for bare arms. I picked up this gray flannel shirt last week at Madewell and absolutely love it – it’s probably one of the softest shirts I own! I’ve been tempted to sleep in this flannel even. My sister Jess and I had such a fun time shooting these photos. Jess loves playing with angles and lighting – especially around Christmas when there’s tons of little lights all over and can make some really cool effects in photos with the bokeh. I grabbed one of my favorite wreaths to add a little bit of a festive touch to these – total inspiration for a holiday card, right?
