NYFW Recap

I’m home from New York! Phew. Let’s just take a breath – and maybe even a nap.
Whizzing cabs going by as I arrived at Grand Central.
This week was nothing short of Fashion Week Craziness, as I like to call it. For a little clue as to what happens, read on:
early mornings, rushed morning, having problems hailing cab mornings, waiting for cabs, hailing cabs, getting sick in cabs (cray cray drivers), finding food, finding food but never having enough because you’re late to the next event, seeing seas of bloggers, recognizing old faces, meeting new ones, forgetting some that you know (oops), conversing with editors, instagramming of every.single.thing (#bloggerproblems), blisters, sore feet, too many heels, but really not enough heels, planning outfits but hating every one you brought, frizz city (thanks to the humidity), dashing through the rain, taking photos, being photographed, the thrill of dimming lights before a show, going home with bags 50 pounds heavier..
And I could go on.
But the best part is that I wouldn’t trade any one thing of that for every Fashion Week I’ve attended. Every part makes Fashion Week, Fashion Week. It’s maybe the most intense, whirlwind, pain-but-gain week I experience but I love it.
I just arrived home tonight and will be editing tons of photos and outfits to show you guys – but for now here’s a few fun snapshots of the week!
IFB Conference essentials – iPad and itinerary
Lucky FABB – always a favorite day.
Excited to be spotted on the Lucky Magazine Instagram to – preconference!
Keep your eyes peeled over the next week or so for lots of Fashion Week related posts, from conference coverage to outfit photos. Can’t wait to share!

Okay that paragraph right there is the best description of last week ever…particularly the heels, sore feet, hating all the outfits you brought, and frizz. Haha – love it! So great meeting you!
