My Go To Fall Outfit

Fall Favorites with Nordstrom

Fall Outfit
Topshop Fall Cardigan

This exact combo is my go to fall outfit: a cardigan, lace tank or tee, casual ripped jeans, and booties. It’s the easiest combo to throw on quick in a pinch and still look pulled together, trendy, and ready for the day! I also love that it’s versatile for this time of year as we transition from warmer temps to cooler. I was joking the other day on stories with you guys that in Connecticut we seem to wear 5 outfits a day.. because it starts out cool, gets warmer, peaks midday, and then back to cool! Having a cardigan layered over a tank or tee makes for easy transition in the day if you need to take it off. Which I do a near daily basis around here… ha!

I love this loose, oversized Topshop cardigan I scored at Nordstrom – mainly because it’s a looser fit (aka not as warm!) and it has pockets. Pockets ANYTHING, right?!

Fall Outfit Pumpkin Picking

I also snagged these booties at Nordstrom and they are by FAR my current favorites – for this shorter gal, they hit at just the right height for my jeans! I just ordered the black pair too because #necessary. I actually haven’t given my booties collection an update for a few years now so figured it was time to swap out for some updated styles, especially since I found a pair I love. These booties are Vince Camuto – which is one of my absolute favorite shoe brands: comfortable, run true to size, and last so long.. without breaking the bank! And fun fact: I bought one of my first pairs of VC booties back when I worked at Nordstrom post college.

Also – total plug on the booties.. they are a HOT COMMODITY at Nordstrom right now – as i’m writing this post the new feature Nordstrom has on their site says 2500 people are viewing them!

Thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post.
