I’m going to be totally honest here – yesterday was a rough day.
It was just one of those days – woke up on the wrong side of the bed, if you will. I usually love Sundays – go to church, watch football, spend time with family.. they’re relaxing, rejuvenating. But yesterday just felt like a Monday – you know, one of those Monday’s that we’re trying to break away from around here. It was a drag the whole day, somehow a headache got thrown in there, and I had a to do list a mile long, that I would’ve much rather ignored than dug into.
So I made some paleo cookies and ordered a gluten free veggie pizza and called it a night.
Today – I’m choosing JOY. No matter how I wake up, whether I wake up on the right, left, or wrong side of the bed. Hold me accountable to this too, guys! No sulking tweets (and don’t you dare tweet something negative for me to read!) The first day of the week should be the best day of the week – it sets the tone for the rest of our week, and if we set a bad tone, it’s much harder to get up from down.
So Monday, you’re Joyday. I’m just going to tell myself that all day long. You should too.
I feel ya! Certain days just aren’t in your favor and the only thing you can do is make the next day better!

Monday = Joyday. I like your thinking here! I’m gonna be honest – I’m kind of a Monday hater. I’ve never liked Mondays. It might just be all psychological, as many of us don’t like Mondays and everyone always seems to complain about them, but I’m not a Monday person per se. However, I love you inspiration here! Feeling the beginning of your week with so much negativity is not a good habit to have and an unhealthy one at that. So, thanks for these new Motivation Monday posts; maybe I’ll start to become more of a “Monday person” soon! 🙂
