Hell’s Kitchen Flea

Before I jetted (or should I say “trained”) back to Connecticut from New York, I did a little shopping at Zara, H&M, and then headed off to the Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market with Jessie from the Concrete Catwalk. Jessie is one of my new blogger gal’friends, and she’s an absolute ball of fun! We perused tons of little booths, filled with sparkly goodies, fur, and vintage pieces, while getting some yummy eats. She was also kind enough to snap a few photos of my outfit (and I snapped hers here)- nothing too put together, especially after a week in heels, just a casual, gloomy day in the city. It was actually the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, and the city was lined with NYPD, NYFD, and many military personnel. Quite humbling and emotional to say the least.

Zara heels I’ve been coveting that were practically a steal – $9.99!
Military Personnel at the Hell’s Kitchen Flea – They looked so sharp and were more than happy to let us photograph them. Thank you + to all those who serve our country!
Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had – the one on the right is falafel!

 Top – JCrew (similar)
Pants – H&M (similar)
Crossbody – Gap
Flats – Steve Madden (similar)
Necklace – Anthro
Jewelry – Assorted/Gifted Lucky FABB, Sheyna, Michael Kors

This outfit is a little spin off of another one I posted during the summer, except remixed with a statement jewelry piece, military inspired jacket, and flats instead of wedges. What do you think?
