I have to admit, shooting pre-fall/transitional looks when its 90+ degrees out with 90-100% humidity and my skin as tan as it’s ever been.. I feel a little ridiculous. But so goes the job and here I am with denim + booties on just hours after leaving the beach (#crazy, yes – I know.)
This combo is probably one of my all time favorites – a crisp white blouse (a boho one at that), chic distressed denim (there is such a thing!), and a classic pair of neutral booties. I’ve worn this top + booties combo with cutoffs a few times over the last few weeks. I have a plethora of white blouses and tops in my closet but can’t ever seem to get enough. They are my favorite thing to pair with denim because it’s such a classic, chic look that can work for any occasion or day.. as evidenced by my #ootd yesterday too.
You’re pretty much staring at my pre-fall uniform right here. When it gets chillier, just throw a cardigan over this and you’re ready to go. I love the fall toned vibes of this one, or the classic closet staple like this. You can even opt for a wrap or blanket scarf – goodness, did I just say that? Moving onnnnn.
I’m heading off to NYC this weekend to celebrate a dear friends wedding – I cannot wait! It’s a black tie affair, and I just can’t wait to get all snazzy for it. Follow along on snap (@stylecusp).
