Today was absolutely scorching hot – a blistering 96 with intense humidity. Just walking outside I felt like I couldn’t breathe! I stayed inside for much of the day, until venturing out later on to run some errands with one of my sisters. I didn’t have much choice but to throw my hair back in a loose braid, slip into this lightweight linen H&M romper, and swipe on a touch of mascara & lipstick. Thankfully I have a nice little tan coming along, so going out au naturel worked nicely.
I purchased this romper last week and it’s quickly become one of my summer favorites. It’s such a fun print (H&M has lots of pieces with this print right now) and literally feels like you’re wearing nothing.. Yes, my darlings, it’s that fabulous. In my excursion of errands today, we stopped at TJ Maxx. I think today I officially became a Maxxonista, hehe. I snatched this white satchel and a new pair of Betsey Johnson shades. The sunglasses are totally different look than I usually go for, but I absolutely fell in love with them! They have a cute hot pink heart detailing on the side, too.

This last snapshot was my favorite out of the outtakes today. It was the exact vibe I was going for – fun and relaxed – but of course my eyes were closed! I figured I’d include it anyways. After all, it’s not all about my eyes, is it? 🙂

Ahh, this is such a sweet summer look!! Makes me excited for those super hot days! That romper is adorable on you, and I love how simple this is… I find the hotter it gets, the more simple outfits tend to get. I remember saying last summer that it was too hot for jewelry! Ha!
