Decorating for Christmas is one of my absolute favorite things – I pop on some Christmas music, get Christmas spirit + peppermint diffusing in my diffusers, put the Holiday on the TV, pour a cup of cocoa or tea, and get to work! It’s honestly an all day affair, but I love it and it is so fun for me!
This year is especially special since it’s my first Christmas in the house + I really had no idea what to expect – if I would need tons more things or what I wanted it all to end up looking like.. but I absolutely love the way it came together + to be honest, I didn’t buy anything else new/more for the inside, only the outside of the house!
I have a full video tour on instagram stories, which will be saved on my highlights.. so watch that! Also, lots of my decor is marked down right now which is amazing for you guys! I’ll let you in on a secret.. I almost never buy my Christmas decor when it first comes out. I always buy it at the end of the season + keep it for the next. Ornaments, garlands, etc – they are way more worth it to buy at the end of the season.. so now is the time to grab a few things while they’re on crazy sale and tuck them away for next year!
front porch
I kept the front porch simple – with this faux lit garland wrapped around my pillars + icicle lights around the perimeter of the house. For the front door area, I did two huge lanterns (I added the pine cone piece!) and this gorgeous greenery swag. I also put one of those on the side door too! I kind of loved that it was different from a wreath, and I just added the red berries in for a pop of color.
entryway
I added some small touches here but kept it pretty clean + simple, which I think fits an entryway really well. The berries + greenery are scattered all throughout my home.. and then I love grabbing bottlebrush trees + flocked trees (target and amazon usually come through!) to just festive up every little corner!
dining room
The new dining chairs I got are a deep green, which honestly works so well for this time of year because it already looks festive! But to pull the room together, I added a really easy centerpiece that took about 5 minutes to put together + used little things I already had. Candlesticks + glitter trees + a faux garland + flocked pieces + berries. I’m going to order these flameless candle sticks too to put in the candlesticks!
living room
The coziest room of all – I love making my living room luxe with lots of white neutrals, fluffy throws/pillows, flocked pieces, and twinkle lights. It brings the magic of Christmas to full life if you asked me!
kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of the home + you can’t forget decorating it too! I got the live garland from TJ’s and huge it all around the perimeter of the kitchen.. adding in twinkle lights, tiny lit up houses, and bottlebrush trees around the space too!
