I must start out this post by saying I’m not to show my “midriff” ever – going anywhere, or doing anything. To me, it’s quite unladylike and there’s no reason to be flaunting and flashing your tummy around! 🙂 But this outfit makes a complete exception – I was off to spend a day at the pool in sweltering 97 degree heat, and it certainly is ‘what I wore’ for a day of splashin’ and floatin’ in the cool water.
I currently have a thing for anything white and crocheted. In luuuuuurv. It’s all I want to buy! Lightweight + airy seem to be my shopping theme this summer more than ever.
I somehow scored two consecutive days off from work (miracle) and spent one at the beach and one planted right next to our clear, sparkling pool with some good girlfriends and some of my sisters. It was the perfect relaxation that I desperately needed! July is an uber-busy month for the Nordstrom team, hello Anniversary Sale!
