Yesterday was such a gloomy, rainy day, much like the past two weeks have been. I had some errands to do and a celebratory lunch with my grandma, so I decided to be the one bright thing of the day by sparkling in this new yellow trench and my latest go-to skirt. I found this trench at Gap for a total steal, and was so excited to pull it out of my closet (well, suitcases!) for the first time. We quickly snapped some shots on my way out the door that morning, before any rain had a chance to fall. We picked a few spots around my house, attempting to not step in soggy grass or mud with my precious Seychelles.
Little sister, Chelsea, that just insisted on being in the photos. How could I say no? She was still in her Pj’s, too! |
Like I said, this skirt is my go-to piece right now. I’ve worn it so many ways; its so versatile and comfortable! The Seychelles are also a favorite of mine, probably the most comfortable shoes I own! I also absolutely love my weekend purchases: the lilac handbag and Kiss Me Coral lipstick. Not to mention, I loved the price at which I paid; $15 for the two! Target has some wonderful pieces to spruce up any outfit, not to mention a plethora of affordable beauty finds. You can step outside your comfort zone and try something new – and not feel bad about the $4 you spent if you don’t like it!
you look gorgeous, girl! love the trench and those shoes!!!
I am digging that trench, so cute for spring/summer. As for your sister, she is so adorable! š

Yay for a new post! š I love the outfit, but totally digging that yellow trench… I like how you paired a pretty outfit with a side braid to complete the look too!
OMG! Your sister is so adorable, AND her name is Chelsea. Good things definitely come in packages labeled ‘Chelsea.’ I wish I had a bright trench, but the truth is I probably wouldn’t wear it. My black motorcycle jacket would always win out, but you look fabulous in color. As always, you’ve worked it out, girlie!
