Swimwear is hard to shop for, right girls?! There’s so many things to think about – does it have the boob or butt coverage you want, are you comfortable wearing it to both lounge around or run down the beach in, high waist, brazilian cut.. the list goes on.
And I think it’s also tough because so many of us feel body conscious in our swimwear since so much is ‘showing’. The parts we love and the parts we’re insecure about – newsflash: girl, rock that bikini because your body is BEAUTIFUL no matter what.
And – swimsuit trends are fun, but sometimes they’re tricky, depending on your body type or comfort level with swimsuits.

Aerie, H&M, and Amazon. I have worn H&M swimsuits for 10 years now and they honestly just FIT me. Aerie is the same, I hardly even have to try them on.. and I’ve found one suit on Amazon that comes in a billion colors/prints that also fits like a glove.
Go to style:
I love the bandeau look – the triangle suits just aren’t my thing, I’ve tried them over and over and even if I buy them, I don’t wear them! I also have gotten tons of high waisted bottoms the last few years, but still do wear the lower cut ones depending on my mood!
My measurements/sizing:
Sharing my measurements so that you guys can gauge sizing properly for yourself! I am a 32C bust + 26/27 waist, with a butt. I tend to size up in bottoms!
This snakeprint suit is my top Amazon pick for SURE – I bought it in the snake print for my trip to Florida back in the beginning of March and loved it so much I ordered the leopard straight from the beach. It stays up and does not fall down, has light padding, and the bottoms are mid rise.
This Amazon suit was also a top seller for a few weeks back when I first shared it, so I’m sure lots of you grabbed it then. If you haven’t, then TRUST ME and get this!! It’s only $25 – I mean can you even beat that?!
SIZING: I ordered a medium in this suit and it fits perfectly. I’d say it runs true to size.

Aerie is another stop for me season after season – I love the durability of their suits too! They also have sales like every other week, so are pretty affordable. Their ‘high cut cheeky‘ bottoms are my favorite, and I usually grab them in solid colors and use to mix/match with other suits sometimes too!

Totally realized I don’t have a photo of JUST this suit from H&M, but trust me when I say it’s a favorite! I bought this exact suit 8 years ago and they continue to make it since it’s such a classic style. I re-bought it in the same color I originally got (dark purple) and then this season saw it was available in the bright red. I got it right before my florida trip! This bustier bandeau has an underwire and does.not.move. You buy it by cup size too, and that’s why it’s such a good fit!
SIZING: I’m a 32C and have both a 32C + 34B in this and it fits perfectly! Bottoms: US 6 or 8 – both fit good, just depends on what coverage I want.
This tassel bikini is an Amazon dupe for a Tularosa one+ it is a goodie – sometimes the dupes aren’t so good, but this one is. I can’t even tell you how many compliments I’ve gotten on this when I wear it too! Only $25.
SIZING: Runs small, order a size up! I have the medium.
coverups
I love coverups as much as I love swimsuits (if not more..ha!) but honestly don’t spend an arm + leg on them. I usually grab mine at the same places as my suits! My favorites are wraps/sarongs and anything crocheted! the oversized, long button down white tee dresses seem to be a hit this season so I did pick up a few on Amazon + grabbed this chunky belt to pair with them.
