I’ve been absolutely loving the lace up bootie trend – and asked you guys a few weeks ago what you thought about it on instagram (in this pic!). It seems like you all were right on the same page with me and love it too! Whether it’s a flat hiker or utility lace up boot, sherpa lined, or leather lace up – it’s lace up booties FTW this season!

I snatched this lace up pair on Zappos, which is always a go to in the fall for booties. A few brands I typically search for on Zappos are Sam Edelman, Clarks, and Marc Fisher. This pair here are Clarks – super comfy, durable, and an overall classic brand. The color goes with just about anything – I always seem to gravitate towards cognac/tan colored booties versus black! Lace up booties are just as versatile as regular booties, but I love putting a little twist on them and styling with a chunky sock scrunched down into them.

3 Ways to Style Lace Up Booties:

1 – Wear with a pair of denim, cardigan, and tee for a good everyday, casual look in the fall/winter.

2 – Wear with a sweater dress, tights (if it’s cold enough!), and pair with a chunky sock. Scrunch the sock down into bootie (kind of like I did here with the jeans!)

3 – Oversized sweater, leggings, and lace up booties – I wore a look like this last year in Vermont and it was perfect for lounging around!
