The temps dropped pretty drastically this weekend, so while I was doing some Christmas and birthday shopping for my sisters, I was on the lookout for a new coat or two. I hate the feeling of being so bundled up that I feel like the abominable snowman – I wanted some stylish yet still warm alternatives. Leave it to my favorite, Nordstrom, to come to the rescue! I nearly gave up on my search when I stumbled into their Topshop section that was teeming with coats galore.

I picked up this fur trim hooded parka (the fur is removable!), tried it on, and was sold. I snapped a photo of it from the fitting room and it seems like all of you were too! This parka is perfect for those run around errand days to throw over a thermal, leggings, and Nikes.. something I am all too good at these days. I styled it here with a cozy sweater and my go to OTK boots (which are on sale by the way!)

Nordstrom is my one stop shop for anything and everything, especially this time of year. I actually prefer shopping online rather than in store – there’s a much bigger selection and you skip having to sift through racks, wait in line, etc. They also offer free shipping both ways, which is perfect for my ever indecisive self trying to pick out pieces for myself or for gifts!
