One of my little sisters had their birthday this week and I decided to dress up a little for our standard family birthday dinner at home. I’ve been wearing leggings, tank tops, and loose t-shirts non stop the past few weeks since I hurt my back and felt like it was time to dress up! My clothes miss me, what can I say? I reached for this little punchy blue dress I scooped up at Nordstrom in their NEW Savvy department before my California trip – it’s lightweight, comfy, and so easily paired with anything! (and it’s on sale for 40% off now too!)
Style cusp is wearing: Zara blazer (old) // Leith dress (40% off!) // Zara heels (old but similar here on sale!) // Marshall’s Satchel // Target sunnies (MUST have!) // Sorrelli necklace + bracelet + earrings (c/o) // MK Watch // BaubleBar Monogram necklace (gift)
lips: revlon lustrous gloss coral reef // nails: essie orange, it’s obvious
We’ve finally had some gorgeous spring-like days hit us and I’ve spent a lot of my afternoons outside. I picked up a nice glow and my hair has already started to lighten for the season (it gets so light from the sun!) Even though this journey with my back hasn’t been fun or easy, I’m cherishing the time I have to myself spent reading, working on the blog, and thinking a lot about my future. I firmly believe it happened for a reason and just at the right time and has taught me some invaluable lessons.
On a lighter note, this was the first time I threw heels on in almost 6 weeks. Not going to lie – I was nervous! I had no idea what would happen or how it would affect me. We snapped a few pictures and I quickly ripped them off to avoid any mishaps.
Happy Wednesday!
