Happy New Year, all! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends. I decided to take a major break away from anything work related – pretty much everything, even social media (aside from a few instagrams and some snapchats here and there). I dedicated so much time over the last 6 months to growing my business and just one week hardly comes close to the rest and relaxation time I actually need – but I’ll take it, and be thankful that I can even do that!

If you do follow me on instagram, then you saw I celebrated my 27th birthday over the break. Starting a new year is always incredible reflective for me, because I’m really starting not only a whole new year, but also a whole new age. It’s like a double reset and refresh, and I always start the year feeling like I have an even larger clean slate than maybe most do. I have so many goals, plans, and dreams already for this year – and am so excited for all of it to unfold. Thank you all for being here to enjoy the ride!

This lace up sweater from Chicwish is a newbie that arrived over the holiday break. I’ve been wanting a lace up sweater for awhile and this one totally fits the comfort bill – oversized and long, 3/4 sleeve (because I’m always pushing my sleeves up), and 100% on trend. Also – neutral for the win! I can easily transfer this into the spring with a pair of white denim and sandals.. hopefully that’ll be sooner than later, right?! Details below.
