Happy Christmas week, everyone! You may have noticed things are starting to get a little quieter here on the blog and I’m prepping to take some time off from Christmas to New Years. A rest and refresh is so necessary for us all, including bloggers, and I’m looking forward to unplugging a bit. But, first up I’m sharing this pre-Christmas outfit with you guys and my home tour should be live on the blog later today – finally!

It’s no secret my first love this season has been cardigans. Oddly, I almost had none up until this season and it was all pullover sweaters for me. But 2016 was the year of the cardigan and I have more cardigans in my closet now than anything else. I was doing a little Christmas shopping last week and saw this fuzzy gray cardigan at Nordstrom and knew I needed to get this one to round out my collection. Total confession: I’ve worn it probably 6 times since – both out for errands and just at home working. This gray cardigan is so thick and warm, and with the temps we currently have all the warmth is necessary.

A reader commented to me the other day that I shop Nordstrom quite frequently. And yes, I sure do! I’ve mentioned time and again here that Nordstrom became my number one since I worked there post-college. The customer service you receive is unparalleled and the selection is far beyond most retailers. Would you believe me if I told you when I first started working there the online shipping wasn’t free? Nordstrom quickly changed that, realizing that shopping was heading towards e-commerce and they needed to get on board to stay competitive. Thank goodness they did.. because I order way too much from Nordstrom – ha!

Speaking of shipping.. Nordstrom has tons of items available on their site that you can STILL order to arrive in time by Christmas Eve. They are all marked ‘get by christmas eve’ so if you’re a last minute shopper – get shopping!
