Cindo de Mayo Sauza   Sauza Blue Agave Margarita

It’s no secret amongst my family and friends that Mexican is my favorite food ever – basically every week is my Cinco de Mayo (whatever that is supposed to mean!) I have a spot right near me at home that’s my go to for delicious enchiladas, fajitas, and oooo – margaritas! I’ve never actually made my own since I’m so partial to those, so when Glam reached out to me about teaming up with Sauza for this yummy holiday, I said why not?!

Last weekend, my sister and I whipped up a little sauza-rita while she was home from college for a whirlwind of two days (we were in our friends wedding as you may have seen on instagram). Her flight ended up being delayed not one or two but THREE times and didn’t arrive until 3:50AM. I was at near zombie status picking her up and we had to get a few hours of shut eye before heading off for pre-wedding festivities. Before she flew out Saturday, we sat down and enjoyed a few margarita moments together – laughing about the ridiculousness of her flight delays and reflecting on what a beautiful wedding weekend it was.

I’ll be in Florida still on Cinco de Mayo this year, but looking forward to heading home and celebrating another margarita worthy moment – my sister’s college graduation! Have you recently had a margarita worthy moment? Share one in the comments below, or tweet at me with the hashtag #margaritamoments! For making an at home ‘rita, stick to Sauza – I promise you can’t go wrong and it won’t disappoint!

Nothing’s more relaxing than a cool desert breeze blowing across your tired shoulders. Oh wait. That’s the breath of a man who has something very important to tell you. He’s the cowboy. And he’s here to help you relax after a hard day on the ranch. When he’s not rounding up baby cattle, he’s rounding up ingredients for the perfect Sauza®-rita. Learn how to make it with him on your next ladies’ night in: www.youtube.com/SauzaTequila.
