I’m on this total comfort kick lately and once again I’ve resorted to wearing the boyfriend jeans. Holiday time is so busy at work and I constantly find myself reaching for the comfiest pieces in my closet. I’m also obsessed with my Vince Camuto booties (look nearly identical to the Rag + Bones but for a fraction of the price) and pair them with nearly everything. I have to admit I’ve worn this outfit more than once the last few weeks, a faux pas I usually try to steer clear from.
The house I grew up in is situated on a gorgeous 3 acre portion of land that was a farm before my parents bought it and built our house. Our neighbors in front of us still have a few of the old barns on their property and I love their deep red rustic tones. They always looks especially pretty in the fall with all of the colored leaves, and so cozy in the winter when there’s smoke coming from their chimneys (notice the stacks of fresh wood in the chopping process). I love that our neighbors have kept a little bit of the history in our property with the barns – and we still have some of the fruit trees as well!
I have such a busy work schedule these next few weeks, with sister’s birthdays, holiday parties and family festivities, and my birthday (week!) at month’s end. This Christmastime is going to fly by and I’m going to try to soak up every little minute!
