Well today is the day! I am jetting off to London for the next few weeks and could not be more excited. Miss Kathleen (otherwise known as Carrie Bradshaw Lied aka the coolest chick ever!) flew in on Saturday night and we’ve been like two little gals the night before Christmas planning this trip together! I’ve been raving about this cardigan (under $100) over on instagram for the last few weeks – seen here, here, and here. Seriously the coziest thing I have right now. I live in this baby! It comes in a variety of colors so scoop one (or two) up while you can. You guys also know how much I love booties (mentioned here last week) and I’m back today with another staple pair for fall: the black suede chelsea bootie a la the wonderful selection of shoes at Nordstrom. This bootie has been a top seller the last 4 fall seasons at Nordstrom – dating back to my days as a sales girl in shoes post college! It’s no secret I’m a Nordy shoe girl forever.
Now trust me, I know the huge selection can get a bit overwhelming – so narrow your search by utilizing Nordstrom’s shopping functions located on the left sidebar of their site. Nordstrom lists everything from their best selling to under $150 categories, and even break it down by style – from flat to comfort, lace-up to fringe, and block heel to wedge. Girl, you have no excuse not to find something now!
This pair of booties are a great go to – if you don’t love the black suede, they come in a few other colors to pair with literally anything and everything. Dress these beauties up with a leather jacket and tunic for a night out with the gals, or throw on an oversized cardigan and tank like I have here for an easy day of errands or out working at a coffee shop. Hi Sarah! I have this cardigan in two different colors and haven’t had an issue with it – I’ve worn it a TON of times. If any pilling does occur in normal wear spots on my clothes (i.e. under the arms) I usually will snip with scissors.
