Daily Routine

Happy Monday, everyone! Can you believe this is the 6th Motivation Monday post, already? It seems like we just started along in this series – I’m loving all of the positive feedback, it’s motivating to me! I can’t tell you how much it means to hear from readers knowing the work put into a post is resonating with someone – especially these posts.
The past few weeks I’ve been trying to change up my routine, specifically starting my days earlier. Since my work schedule has changed and I work from home, it can be tempting to get my day started a bit later than I should. The past 2 weeks I’ve made it a point to not just get up early, but head to bed early too. I found that in order for me to wake up when I want to, I have to turn the lights out by 11pm. With multiple social media clients + running my own blog, it’s often hard to unplug at night – feeling the pressure of having to finish a post, schedule content, etc. But I’ve learned, and decided, my body needs my sleep and whatever work wasn’t finished today, can be finished tomorrow. I’d much rather call it quits early, get sufficient rest, and wake up early ready to get work done, than stay up late, force up a post or content and end up sleeping half my morning away (I’ve tried it too many times, doesn’t work.)
I truly think my success as a blogger and entrepreneur lies in my time management and how I utilize my days. I’ve decided to change my life and alter my success by waking up early. It sounds so simple, but has such profound effects.

What’s something you need to change to jumpstart your success? Have you been trying to change your daily routine?
This week, commit to changing one thing, even if it’s something small like eating breakfast or drinking more water. I guarantee that whatever it is, will change more than you think it will!

Oh absolutely – I’m finding the same! I’ve actually been tracking my time the last couple of weeks and it’s pretty surprising/interesting to see how I’m using it. And I definitely agree with you about the waking up earlier. Is it just me or do people who wake up earlier always get more done every.single.day? That’s my one habit I’m working on at the moment.

    P.S. I like motivational mondays. 🙂
