Last weekend I had the fun opportunity to head down to Brooklyn for a little weekend staycation with Jockey x Even Hotels. The focus for the weekend was on wellness – something I’ve really needed to hit the restart button on after traveling so much the last few months. I was excited to get in some good workouts, eat some clean food, and try out the new Jockey activewear line while doing it!
Even Hotels is a new to me hotel group that focuses on wellness for it’s guests. Each room has it’s own in room workout equipment, and the hotel itself has a 2 floor gym! There’s a small restaurant with lots of clean eats and a little grab and go station – that features freshly juiced OJ. The beds are also an absolute dream – I had the best night’s sleep in a looong time last Friday night!
We kicked things off with little refreshments and a shopping suite to pick up our favorites from the new Jockey activewear and sleepwear lines. I’ve never worn Jockey before, but have always heard great things, so was excited to see for myself how comfortable the line is!
Our first activity was hot yoga, so we suited up in our new Jockey gear and headed a block or two down the road to Tangerine. Some of the girls had never done hot yoga so weren’t what to expect – but not this girl! 100 degrees, ready or not.
Following hot yoga, we had in room massages from Zeel and face fitness facial from Face Love Fitness. The massage I had from Zeel was one of the best of my life – I wish I could have that woman come to my house every single week!
After our relaxing and detoxing afternoon, we headed over the bridge into Manhattan for dinner at Mr. Purple. I’ve never been but heard great things – it’s located in Hotel Indigo and has incredible views of the city. Fun fact: they own the air space there so no one can ever ruin that view!
I ended up calling it a night a little early than some of the rest of the crew since I was so tired. But it was so worth a great night’s sleep and I woke up feeling so rested and refreshed. I slipped into my Jockey robe – which I’m currently wearing as I type this post too! – for a quiet morning before we headed to our next workout.
Our next workout was a HIIT workout circuit with a fun trainer named Hollis. It felt so good to start the day with a good sweat! It’s been awhile since I’ve been in my regular workout routine and this gave me the itch to get back into the swing of things.
We wrapped things up later that afternoon with brunch at French Louie that was to die for. If you’ve never been or live in Manhattan but aren’t sure if you want to trek over the bridge – do it. It’s so worth it! Their almond milk latte was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Cheers to such a fun weekend! Thank you to Jockey x Even Hotels for hosting us and creating a relaxing experience before kicking off the holiday season.
Look like such a fun time! XO –

Comfy and lightweight – both things I love and want in workout wear!
