INTRODUCING: *The Bloggerista Book Club*

Well here it is, lovelies. The first of my two announcements is arriving! I am so excited to share with you all I can hardly contain myself. Let me just say that it has been close to impossible not to leak anything the past weeks.

Before telling you exactly what it is, let me share a little background info with you all. For the past few months, I’ve wanted to join a book club. I know several people who are involved in them and they seem like such fun and a totally different way (than most people are used to) to interact with others! So in late November, I thought, “well, why not start my own?”

Instantly, I knew it. A blogger book club.

I contacted my lovely friend Kendall of Kendall Crow and we decided to get cookin’ with some details and introduce the book club at the start of the New Year! Sort of a kick off for a new year, something new to dive into! Then, last week, my other bloggy friend, Nina of The Style Glossary, posted  The Dashing and Daring Girls Book Club. So, to make a long story short, after contacting Nina, we decided that instead of having two book clubs (and forcing all your lovely readers to choose between the two of them) we would collaborate and come together!

So, without further adieu I’d like to introduce to you all..

The Dashing and Daring Bloggerista Book Club!

I can’t even begin to explain how thrilled the three of us are to bring this to you all, and to get started! After much browsing and thinking of what it should be, we chose our first book: ‘I Heart New York’ by Lindsey Kelk. This seems to be the perfect book to kick-off with! It’s a lighthearted read about a young lady named Angela who is originally from London but skips to NYC via a plane after some boy issues. After arriving in this lovely city, she meets new friends and even begins to blog for a fashion magazine. Could this book be any better? I think not!

The nitty-gritty details are still being sorted out, but we are going ahead with the Book Club.

If you would like to join the club, please comment or email one of us ladies letting us know! Then, we will send you the deets on what you can do to get started. 🙂

I assure you all that this Book Club will be lighthearted & not-too-serious ‘cause God only knows the busy schedules we all have.

Let’s Get Started, Bloggeristas!

XXXO,
M

(Please Note: If you are not a blogger and you are reading this, you are more than welcome to join as well! The fact that you read blogs makes you a bloggerista 😉 So what are you waiting for?)

    Hi Marissa!

This sounds like fun! Now at least I’ll be able to fulfill one of my New Years resolutions (the other was to stop drinking Coke, and it only lasted a week!)
