When I was little, we’d always have the sparkliest dresses for our holiday parties, family get togethers and all of that. I always loved getting all dressed up and feeling special in a new dress my mom got me… fast forward to being an adult and all i can think of is comfort – let’s be real here. Thanksgiving & Christmastime are all about the food. So comfort yet chic fashion is the way to go!

I scooped up these wide leg dress pants a few weeks ago at Nordstrom and am obsessed. There’s so many ways to wear these guys but I paired the wide leg pants with a cozy knit – thinking comfort here! It’s still pretty warm here in Connecticut so I can get away with bare legs and pumps. Come colder temps I’ll swap the pumps out for these black velvet sock booties (obsessed!)

This look is perfect for a Christmas party or even Christmas Eve. The waistband on the wide leg pants is elastic making it super stretchy for all those good eats. And you guys know I love my cozy knits so of course had to throw one on!
