I’m totally inspired by print mixing these days – in case you missed, yesterday’s outfit post with me experimenting with my own prints, check it out! There’s loads of ways and really no “right” or “wrong” way to mix prints, but I’ve got a few tips and another edition of Head to Toe to help you out if you’re standing in front of your closet wondering whaaaaat!?
H E A D —> TOE.
1. Trouser – Nordstrom, $68 // I suggest starting with your bottoms, whether a flirty skirt or flowy trousers. I find that it’s much easier to build my outfit around my bottoms.
2. Tank – Joie, $138 // Pick a print that slightly offsets the bottom, whether that’s with color or print. I usually opt for a neutral printed palette on top. It’s a classy twist on a trendy look.
3. Bag – Tory Burch, $525 || or Clutch – Gorjana, $154 // Go bright! I love a bright statement bag for spring/summer, and Shopbop has a ton in their “The Bright Ones” shop. A medium sized top handle satchel/tote is perfect for day time or work and you can even fit a small clutch inside to pull out for after work events or dinner.
4. Heels – Tildon for Nordstrom, $69 // The strappy sandal look is so in right now. I’m totally lusting after these gorgeous white ones from Nordstrom that are nearly identical to the Shoemint beauties that are sold out! NEED.
5. Necklace – BaubleBar, $36 // Find some fun jewelry! BaubleBar has everything you could possible need. I’m not too sure why you’d look elsewhere.
I so love everything you’ve listed here and your outfit! Ahhh so beautiful! I need those sandals and the tank!
I wish that this entire outfit were sitting in my closet right now.
Love it all! I have been stalking those white shoes on shoemint – now I want them
even more!
