Happy Valenties Day, all!
I hope you have some exciting plans for today/tonight – whether it’s catching a chick flick, having a night in with your girlfriends, or a surprise date with your man. I have never been a huge fan of Valentine’s Day – whether I’ve had a valentine or not. I feel like there’s so much anticipation and expectation, that is never fulfilled or reached and the day is left like a (seemingly) disappointment, whether it really is or isn’t. I’ve had my fair share of Valentine’s disappointments, but I hope to change that this year, and be thankful for what I have, who I have, and whatever the day may bring!
It’s hard to believe I’ve been back from #NYFW for 5 days already. I’m excited to bring you a bit more content next week of some outfits + share a few stories about what I did. For now, here’s a few links for your weekend.. trust me, these are totally worth reading too.
+ My girlfriend Hallie does an hour by hour recap of her fashion week days and I literally live for them. I was hysterically laughing at my desk today because her Day 1 recap of this season was THAT good, you guys. I can’t wait for the rest!
+ GLAM is sharing a bunch of fun videos from fashion week on their new YouTube channel, including some “day in the life” ones. I was actually filmed when I stumbled into Hallie on my way back from a quick trip to Zara.. and crossing my fingers I’m edited out because I was totally not dressed fashion week worthy. (I’m exaggerating..kind of).
+ I have been wanting this Zara coat for the two seasons they’ve carried it and always said “next time.. next time”. While I was in NYC, I found it on sale, but decided to pass it up because I thought spring is right around the corner. Now, I’m kicking myself and totally wish I would’ve just taken it home with me!
+ J.Crew is offering 25% off for Valentines Day with code HEART214. I really love this tunic sweater for spring.
+ Nordstrom is having a major shoe sale. Cue death to my wallet. Speaking of wallet, I like this one.
+ UMMM. I need to hold my breath for five seconds.. maybe ten. I’m currently head over heels in love with this Rebecca Minkoff bag. I might have to save up for this beauty in the cognac color.
