Wearing this outfit, I felt like I blended in with my surroundings outside. It was such a gorgeous day and everything felt so green and natural, including my outfit. This is just one of those simple, but still put together outfits that’s perfect for running around doing errands, or even to meet a girlfriend for coffee. A simple tee with crochet detailing, white pants, and some accessories for some sprucing.
I have been so open to trying new things lately, especially with my hair. Hence, the new flower pin. I have always stared at pictures of models or even other bloggers who don a cute bow or hair pin and wonder if I could wear it as beautifully. I stopped wondering and finally tried it, and instantly fell in love with the feminine flair it gave to the entire ensemble. It’s makes this look so dainty and girly – and I’m totally embracing it!
While snapping these photos, I have to admit I pretended that I was on a little picnic excursion. I couldn’t help myself with this gorgeous new basket-weave bag (it’s my sisters, and I totally stole it for the day). It just screams a summer day get-a-way in the park or under a huge oak tree. My imaginary basket held a bottle of Pinot Grigio, cheeses, assorted crackers, and some tapenade spreads. What would yours hold?

I scored these comfy white pants on a recent trip to a new thrift store nearby that my sister and I checked out. I was pleased with the quality of clothes we found, and couldn’t pass these up!

Pretty much ready for a picnic now. You have me sold! The flower looks fabulous in your hair, you should definitely do it more often. I always want to work in a headband but end up taking it off after an hour because of headaches;)
