I hope you all had a wonderful holiday week with your family & friends, and stuffed your tummies til the seams on your clothes just burst. Or well, maybe I don’t hope that part..but you know what I mean. I for sure know I ate too much, but let’s be serious, how can you not when there’s so many delicious dishes to choose from? Exactly why I have begun a detox this week with this lovely lady and our beaus!
And yes, I know, I know, it’s been WAY too long for my liking, and I hope yours too!, since my last post. But I won’t even get into that since we all know how busy holidays and traveling and such can be! I had every intention of keeping up with you all over the Thanksgiving break but it just didn’t happen. To be quite honest, I felt clear out of any motivation or even inspiration to write even the simplest post. (I know other bloggers can attest to this too!)

BUT, without further adieu… I have something quite exciting for you all! My very first outfit post!!! These photos were taken over break and like I said before I had every intention of concocting a post with these over the holiday.. but better late than never though, right?! 🙂 My beautiful sister Emily, who is about to join our blogger world might I add so stay tuned!, took these photos for me. Here is the lovely lady herself 🙂 This was taken on her birthday last week, which was full of pink, cupcakes, tieras, and sequins- that’s all she wanted!
I’ve been wanting to do outfit posts for quite some time now, but as you all know, my blog is not just about “what I wear everyday”. That being said, I am totally not against posting pictures of outfits, because I know I love peaking at what all you bloggers are wearing. 😉 It was a fun little shoot to do with Emily and of course since it was the first for both of us we are learning & working with each other to get the photos I want, or more so maybe the ones I LIKE, hehe. It was absolutely frigid outside too, so we decided to take the pictures in our formal living room. I have to say though that for our first time I was so pleased with the outcome! We used my mom’s Nikon camera, which is WAY TOO FABULOUS, and that I wanted to steal!

My favorite thing about this look is that it’s so versatile! I wore this on a normal day out running errands and for my sisters birthday festivities, but it could easily be worn for a Thanksgiving dinner or even a party. The skirt is one of my favorite new additions to my closet, especially with that zipper up the front!

Love the outfit, it’s so cute! I think I definitely need to look into a detox or something like that as well. Right now I have just started trying to pay attention to what I eat in between holiday feasting! & I love the skirt too!
