One of the things I hope to bring more to the blog this year is beauty. I’ve had my fair share of skin issues and testing hundreds (yes) of skin care lines and products over the years. Now that I have my health situated and a fabulous complexion (complete 180 from before!), I’ve been testing the waters with new products! I never tried new products since I had such sensitive skin, and even now, stick to my trusty basics for my skin. But I’ve come to love playing around with different lines when it comes to lips and eyes.
I had the opportunity to test out the new Cover Girl Bombshell collection this past week and honestly, I love it! It’s just the perfect amount of glam and I was entirely obsessed with my lashes. First, I started out with the cream shine shadow base, and applied with an eye shadow brush I had on hand.
Next, I applied a thin, winged line of the Bombshell Intensity Liner. It went on so smoothly and boldly – totally not necessary for multiple applications/lines.
Last, I applied the Bombshell Lashblast Mascara. This has two labeled ends. I applied two coats of side 1 and two coats of side 2. I’m such a sucker for a good mascara, and have tried everything from Benefit to Dior to Maybelline. I’ve come to love drugstore mascaras, and at the moment, this Bombshell one is my favorite! I couldn’t believe how bold and bright my eye looked afterwards.
In the after photo above, I’ve only applied the Bombshell collection to my eye on the right – I left my typical eye makeup on the left, just for you to see the contrast. Can you tell the difference? I’m totally sold on this mascara! I’m headed off to New York Fashion Week tomorrow and you can bet this is the only mascara I’ll be carrying along!
I’d love to see your beauty looks testing out the new Bombshell collection – upload a photo to instagram + use the hashtag #bombshelling!
Great post! Love how you compared the two. Hope all is well and you’re staying warm, lady!
Love this post!!
Lovely..!! You look fantastic I will suggest you to use revitol eye cream to secure your eyes and you can use your favorite eyeliner after applying this cream around your eyes and yes, you can apply other makeups as well after it.
