There’s nothing I love more than a girl party, especially one with jewelry. That’s why when I read the next Bloggers Do It Better challenge I completely squealed with excitement – but seriously. Kristina decided to have us stack up our bangles and watches for an arm party, a trend I’m so loving right now. I assembled a quick arm party for this post, but with pieces that I wear regularly and that have been featured many a time here (such as here, here, + here. I think you’ll recognize nearly every piece!

Front + Back views of the Arm Party.
I decided to mix classy, colorful, and creative. Classy with the gold watch + bracelet; Colorful with small bangles; Creative with the large wooden bangle. Each piece gives a different dynamic, yet ties the entire AP (arm party) together. I could easily wear this with a plain white tee and shorts, but also wear it out for a date night with a skirt + some heels. With so many pieces + textures, the look is extremely versatile.
Let’s Break it Down
1. The AE Wooden Bangle (similar): This has been one of my favorite bangles since I first purchased it years ago. I have an extremely small wrist, and often can’t wear bangles, but this one seems to fit perfectly!
2. J. Crew Bangles (similar, similar, similar): To be honest, I completely forgot about these beauties! I was searching through my packed jewelry drawer, and was so excited when I found them. They remind me much of the Kate Spade ones that I am crushing on! I will most definitely be adding these into my arm party rotation more often.
3. Michael Kors Watch (similar) Heirloom Rope Bracelet (similar, similar) It’s no secret this is my staple for any arm party. The MK watch is probably my favorite piece of jewelry. I typically always pair it with this rope-esque bracelet that I snatched from my mom (It didn’t fit her wrist anymore, but perfectly fit mine!). The two go perfectly together, and are an instant spruce to any outfit!
4. AE Assorted (similar, similar) : These bangles are so easy to throw on with an outfit, or to add to an arm party. They’re simple, and have a fun little texture. The set came with two more, but I opted to leave them out for this go-round!

in the summer I go for a small party because the bracelets make my arm feel warm 😛 3-4 is a good number for bigger cuffs, but if thet are small, the more the better!! I participated in the challenge too…and I did a “themed” party: wood vs metal! Anna
