Hello Readers!
Between the busyness of the fashion show and school I have been lazy in updating. However, I promise to fix this and bring you more exciting things to read about the taste and style of life! 🙂

The Fashion Show, sponsored by Cotton, Inc. has [finally] commenced as of last weekend. It was wonderful working with Erika Sheffer (follow her blog, styleactivist!) as her assistant gaining some experience and helping put everything together. She has incredible patience let me tell you! Although there were definitely some fashion faux’s that could have been prevented.. the night was definitely a success! Here are some pictures of the night!:

My next adventure will [hopefully] involve taking on position of Director next year since Erika will be stepping down. I think this is an excellent opportunity to be involved in something I am passionate about and to work with other girls [&boys in some cases!] who share the same passion as I do. I will most definitely be looking Ms. Sheffer her for guidance and help!

For now, the inner cook in me has come back out 🙂 I have spent my nights cooking, it’s like my therapy. A few of my recent dishes include:

– Chili Stuffed Bell Peppers
– Sauteed Lima Bean & Onion tossed with Pasta & Drizzled with Balsamic Dressing
– Chicken Marsala

Let’s just say my roommate doesn’t hate it 🙂

And readers… I encourage you to start a blog! The common assumption of a blog taking up too much time is most definitely false! Share your thoughts, experiences, and hobbies with others. It can be quite exhilarating!

Stay tuned for some yummy recipe posts 🙂 & some incentives to do big things this summer!

HAPPY SPRING! 🙂
