Last week, I had the fun opportunity to visit the Blo blow dry bar right around the corner from me. It was my first visit to Blo – and actually my first visit to ANY blow dry bar. Can you guys believe that? I’ve honestly never felt the need to go because I like doing my hair and feel most confident about my hair when I do it. But when the lovely owner of Blo, Stacey, offered to have me come in and participate in a special promo with Glasses.com, I couldn’t pass it up!
And seriously – can we just talk about how adorable the salon in? It had plush white chairs with pink accents and gorgeous art on the wall. So trendy and fun! I am all about atmosphere when it comes to salons. When they’re put together well, I am assured the staff will give me a ‘do I love.
1. The first step is of course to WASH. The product is absolutely amazing. My stylist used shampoo/conditioner specifically for blonde hair – and it smelled like fresh grapes. Heaven.
2. Next up is the BLOW. The stylist blew out my hair half way and then took individual pieces and blew out each of them separately to create volume. Once she blew each piece out she clipped it back in a faux roller style (below).
So cute in there, and your hair came out amazing!! I might have to check it out soon 🙂

So fun! I wish there was something like this where I live. Or rather, I wish there had been one before I chopped all my hair off, not sure what they’d do with my crop now!

I’ve been to Blo many times before (they’re actually from Vancouver!) and it’s always such a treat. I’m not much of a hair styling girl usually but I love getting taken care of by them and just handing the styling reins over to someone else! Your hair looks absolutely stunning girl (though it always does!).
