This has to be one of my absolute favorite shoots to date.. My sisters and I were out for an afternoon together and the day ended with the most incredible sunset. We found this upper level parking area that captured the red hues of the sunset so perfectly – I love the soft glow each of these photos has. It was such a beautiful night and it’s nights like that that make me thankful for things like cameras!

This chambray, leather, and ‘oversized cardigan/poncho/coatigan/what is this’ combo is totally stolen from one of the girls down at J. Mc Laughlin in Greenwich. Julia from Lemon Stripes hosted a small group of us bloggers back in September for a fun night out at the J. McLaughlin store. One of the associated was wearing this and I absolutely loved it, so I grabbed the coatigan and headed home to recreate it! Leather leggings are a staple of mine during the fall/winter months – I own several pairs and they get their wear’s worth! I also have quite a few chambray tops in different styles and washes. This chambray top is one of the softest I’ve ever worn. I always forget how much I love chambray tops and don’t wear them nearly enough – let’s see if we can change that.. shall we?
