Draped coats definitely have a soft spot in my heart (this post is one of my all time favorites) so when I saw this cocoa colored piece for just $35, I knew I wanted to scoop it up! It comes in nine others colors, so if you’re not into this color there’s plenty more to choose from! This is a great lower priced piece to mix with higher priced accessories, like your favorite investment bag or a chic pair of pumps.
As much as I love shopping at Nordstrom, Shopbop, and Revolve, my budget doesn’t necessarily always allow for that! I also don’t like to purchase items that tend to be ‘trendy’ from higher priced retailers either. I can’t justify spending a few hundred dollars on things that will quickly be over in a season or two. Instead, I’ll regularly browse sites like BooHoo, Zara, and H&M for some good pieces that can fill in gaps in my wardrobe or for a quick trend buy. More often than not, you can score amazing deals and pieces that with a little styling, can turn a few heads!
Also, since I got quite a few questions on last night’s instagram about my necklace, I wanted to give you guys a little bit of info! My sweet cousin Mallory works for an Austin-based necklace designer called Beaded by W. They make these tassel necklaces in literally any color or style you want. I’ve worn this with so many things the past few weeks (she gave it to me for Christmas) and know it’ll be a staple through the summer months with all of the white and neutrals I wear there too!
