CHICWISH TOP // NORDSTROM SKIRT // STUART WEITZMAN SANDALS (sold out, similar)
GIVENCHY BAG VIA BAG BORROW STEAL (MEDIUM SIZE, SIMILAR) // RAY BAN SUNGLASSES
I still have a few posts from Ireland to share with you, but wanted to transition over to a few of my NYFW outfits! I headed into the city last week for a whirlwind few days of shows, meetings, and events with my main squeeze, Christina. We woke up SO early last Thursday to get to the city in time for the Calia by Carrie Underwood launch event that I was covering. With rain in the forecast, I decided to wear something a bit transitional with this faux suede skirt and flowy pleated top. I am loving the button up mini skirts for fall, whether suede or denim. Wear them with your favorite pair of booties or even over the knee boots. This pleated top came in just in time for my trip and it was an easy piece to wear all day (read: not clingy). I didn’t get to wear my studded cage sandals from Stuart Weitzman too much this summer so pulled them out for this trip. They ended up being the shoe I wore the most over the 4 days of NYFW – SO incredibly comfy and easy to walk in.. and that’s a luxury that doesn’t come easy when running around the city. They’re a great alternative to the Valentino pair – and about half the price!
In other news, I’m headed off on a trip somewhere warm today! Make sure you’re following me on instagram for details on where and how you can win a trip getaway! You can also follow along my travels with the hashtag #cuspwanderlust and in real time on snapchat – username: stylecusp. Happy Monday!
