Trench vests are my jam right now. I can’t stop layering with them for spring! I recently added this nude trench vest to the mix and it’s the perfect shade for mixing with other neutrals. I love the draped collar on this trench vest too – it adds just a bit more character to an otherwise simple piece.
In case haven’t noticed, I’m the (self-proclaimed) neutral queen. I wish you guys could peep my closet and see just how true that statement is. But I guess you can kind of tell from here on the blog, right? I’ve always gravitated towards neutral colors. They’re classic and chic, and can easily be mixed and matched with each other in a million different ways. I feel so much more confident in a crisp white tee or classic black silk tank than a floral romper or bright maxi dress.
So when deciding what to pair this nude trench vest with, I of course reached for some of my favorite spring basics: light gray denim + a lace up top – which gives a tad of a trendy spin to this look. I’m not one for dipping too much into trends unless they fit my style, but the lace up trend totally fits the bill.
As I mentioned here, I highly suggest scooping up a trench vest (or two!) for spring. You’ll end up wearing it a ton, while still having a pulled together look underneath. I linked up a ton of them below in different styles, lengths, and colors – and I also LOVE this olive green vest!
