My NYFW trip this season was a last minute decision. I flew in from Florida late Wednesday night, and debated all day Thursday if I should head into the city or not. 5pm – I booked a room at the Park Central using Roomlia, scoring the best deal on a hotel in NYC ever. I quickly exchanged my bikinis and sundresses for way too many coats and pieces I could layer before heading off at 5am on Friday morning. I packed as many shows as I could into the few days I was there, including Mara Hoffman, Jill Stuart, Rebecca Minkoff, and Dennis Basso (my favorite!) I am almost positive I don’t need to tell anyone it was freezing while I was there – but it was freezing. (Disclaimer: I’m wearing tights underneath these pants!) I wore a heavy sweater and layered this wool blend coat & faux fur collar over it for daytime, then switched to this fur vest and coated pants for night shows & a Thai dinner catch up with my favorite, Jess!
