New York Fashion Week was such a whirldwind, per usual. Day 1 always begins in full force and you’re super charged and ready to go. By the end, it’s anything less than glamorous with tons of blisters, missed meals, hair in shambles from the humidity, phone going dead twice over, and of course laughing at the most ridiculous things (since you’ve been up since 5am). I promise it’s not as glamorous as it looks! It was inhumanly humid the first day and just after 5 minutes of being outside, I was drenched. Good thing I opted for this loose, lightweight top + a white skirt from Lulu*s. Speaking of white, I’m all for wearing white after Labor Day and loved how much white we were seeing across the city. It’s refreshing and when it’s still 90+ degrees out, you bet you should be wearing white. I don’t even know what that’s considered a “rule” – break it! As soon as I saw this vegan leather skirt from Lulu*s, I knew it would be the perfect piece to transition into fall with.
