I spent the better part of June-October traveling, mainly by plane but a few roadtrips mixed in too. I’d like to think I’m well on my way to becoming an expert packer by now! Aside from packing, I’ve got the traveling essentials down pat for sure and have a really good system in place of what I need and want when I’m traveling and 20,000 plus feet in the air. Here’s some ideas..
I think it’s a given that you need to travel in layers, no matter where you’re going. I’ve been boiling hot and freezing cold all in one flight before, so I’m sure to wear a tank or short sleeves, layered with a denim jacket or cozy sweater. I also recently got this White + Warren travel wrap and it’s 100% worth it. I brought it on my last trip and it was a lifesaver on the plane. The travel wrap makes such a great gift! This 4 zip traveler case was my go to for storing all of my chargers, SD cards, mophies, etc. It has a ton of little compartments that kept everything organized and not lost. I actually still keep everything in it while I’m home, stored in my desk. An eye mask is a traveler’s must have, especially if you’re headed somewhere internationally – and don’t forget to add in the passport case! Luggage is no longer about all black – I’m finding that more and more people purchase a piece of luggage for it’s looks as much as it’s functionality. I love this two tone luggage that’s also available in a few other color combinations. If you do opt for some black luggage, grab a bright colored bag tag to differentiate it from the rest. A few other things that are great for traveler’s are mini candles, a longchamp tote, books, or headphones.
