Phew! The past weeks have been nothing but a whirlwind. I completed my final semester of college, moved out of my apartment, graduated with by Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, and traveled back home to spend some quality family time for summer. It’s hard to believe I’m moving on from the ‘college-phase’ of my life, but I’m ready to tackle the ‘real world’!
I ended up unintentionally taking a hiatus from blogging, or well.. from my computer in general. Aside from writing two 15 page papers, studying for finals, and writing 3 essay in a matter of one week, I wasn’t on my computer. In fact, when all of that was completed, I didn’t touch my computer for an entire week. Can you believe that? Yes me, the twitter/tumblr/blog (and now pinterest too!) addict that I am didn’t do any of that for a week. But, it was precisely what I needed. I spent quality time with friends, my boyfriend, family who traveled to my graduation, and just took time away from everything. I went to some wineries with some of the greatest friends, laid out by a pool, and went to some of my favorite restaurants for the last time. And I loved every minute of it.
Now, it’s time to get to work. Well, sort of. I’ve decided to take two months this summer just to enjoy time with my family and the last days before I head off into the real world. I’ll have lots of time to get into a set blogging schedule, that I have been dying to have. And cross a few things off my summer bucket list (soon to come!).
For now, take a peak at some graduation photogs! Graduating college is something I always dreamed about as a little girl, though I never dreamed I’d do it in just three years. It’s a day that seemed so far away, one that I never thought would come. But it came! It was an incredible weekend, and even somewhat still surreal. But I spent it with the people who are closest to my heart and I would not have had it any other way. Thank you to my Mom, sisters, grandparents, Aunt & Uncle for sharing in my special day with me. I love you all!

I think a hiatus is a great, relieving practice. And completely understandable.
