Bectu Major Motion Picture Agreement

An agreement that covers all the important conditions for the crew who participate in great films with budgets of 30 million pounds or more. (Effective date April 2, 2018) Pact Deputy CEO Max Rumney said: “The Pact/BECTU collective agreement for the hiring of the crew in the production of Major Motion Pictures represents a significant step forward in labour relations. It standardizes and makes working conditions transparent, which helps ensure fairness in order management, and creates a platform for crews and producers to address employment issues. This is a series of guidelines that apply to all feature films with a budget of more than £30 million. It was adopted by a massive majority of 87.61% and took more than 5 years of negotiations to achieve it. .
