Memorial Day Weekend is my favorite weekend of the year! Summer is finally kicking off – here’s to beach days, BBQ’s, white sundresses, and weekend getaways. First up: Newport. I’m heading to the little island today with my mom and sisters for a little celebratory weekend – there’s lots going on in our family.. more to come on that later.

I’ve never been a super ‘festive’ dresser (i.e. stars and stripes on 4th of July), but I do like to wear appropriate colors for certain times. We all know my obsession with white, so this romper is perfect to kick off summer with, especially paired with the blue mirrored sunnies and a striped scarf.
