Apparently winter is coming faster than we thought here in Connecticut – we had a snow/sleet mixture with freezing temps yesterday as I was driving back from Vermont in full on snow. For lack of more elaboration, let’s just say I wasn’t thrilled, at all. But, with the weather deciding to get cold on us, I guess it’s a good thing that I scooped up a pair of Sorel boots a few weeks ago from Zappos. I was in need of a new winter snowy pair that are easy to slide on and off when running out to get the mail, run errands, etc – while still staying stylish and cute. Sorel by far has the most stylish yet functional winter footwear and they offer tons of styled to choose from on Zappos. I went for a simple bean boot style, but they have full on snow boots with faux fur and higher rise pairs if you’re looking for something a little different!

I’ve been raving about this turtleneck sweater on instagram and it is a steal – any sweater with pockets is sold in my book, and at $68 a pop I’m thinking I need another color. I’ll be layering this with everything (already have been..!) as it continues to get colder. Happy Weekend all!
